Reliability is also known as repeatability. Reliable measurement gives consistent results in a time duration.increase in random error reduces the reliability. Reliability of instrument creates the upper limit to reliability.

There are three main bases to test reliability of surveys:

• Test-retest: In this method, reliability can be tested by administrating of the instrument to similar people( group ) at two points that are different in time.

• Equivalent form: two different instruments used to measure similar inputs.

• Internal consistency: It is one of the most important methods used to measure reliability.
