The three clusters of personality disorders are:

  1. Cluster A: also referred to as the odd as well as eccentric cluster. Personality disorders that occur are schizoid, paranoid, schizotypal, one of the common feature is social awkwardness as well as social withdrawal.
  2. Cluster B: also referred to as the dramatic, erratic and emotional cluster. These people are unpredictable in their behavior or in their thinking. These would be including borderline personality disorders, antisocial personality disorders, narcissistic personality disorders as well as histrionic personality disorders.
  3. Cluster C: this is referred to as being anxious as well as fearful. People in this condition would be dependent, avoidant, obsessive compulsive. These include avoidant personality disorder.

  4. Antisocial personality disorder (cluster B): these People would be disregarding the feelings of other people. They might having persistent law problems, impulsive behaviours and lack of remorse.
  5. Borderline personality disorder (cluster B): they might be displaying unstable as well as fragile behaviors. Also, they may have intense relationships, suicidal threats or behavior. There may be intense fear of being abandoned
  6. Histrionic personality disorders (cluster B): they might constantly seek attention. They would be easily influenced by other people. They might display excessive concern with respect to the physical appearance. They might get easily influenced by other people.
  7. Narcissistic personality disorders (cluster B): they have a habit of exaggerating their talents or achievements. They may be arrogant. They may failure to recognise the feelings of other people.
  8. Avoidant personality disorders (cluster C) : they may be too sensitive to rejection or criticism. They might feel unattractive. They may fear ridicule or have a fear of embarrassment
  9. Dependent personality disorder (cluster C): they might be having excessive dependence on other people and they might feel that there’s a need to take care. They might display submissive behaviors or clingy behaviors towards other people. They might fear disapproval and have a difficulty in disagreeing other people.
  10. Obsessive compulsive disorder (cluster C): preoccupation with rules, orderliness or details. Extreme levels of perfectionism, that would result in dysfunctions or distress. Having the desire to be controlling more number of people. Rigid as well as stubborn And the inability in discarding worthless objects.
