Brodmann is best known for his work in Neurobiology field of neuroscience.

Korbinian Brodmann is a German neurologist who is famous for his work in cerebral cortex and the division of brain into 52 regions which were called Brodmann areas of the brain. He also undertook research on identifying the difference between the human and ape brains. He worked in different neurobiological labs during his career such as Neurobiologische Zentralstation in Berlin and Neurobiological Laboratory of the University of Berlin before joining Institute for Brain Research.
