How would you describe normal aging vs. what is seen with neurocognitive disorders

Normal aging- in normal aging, we don't see significant decline in cognitive functions such as,

• No difficulty in language ability, little decline in verbal and visual memory, immediate memory and object naming.

Neurocognitive disorders- In neurocognitive disorders, we can see rapid decline in cognitive functions. These disorders can be dementia, Tauopathies, Synucleinopathies etc. In these disorders, we can see such type of signs and symptoms,

• Failure to recognize the familiar places, short term memory decline, decline in decision making and planning, repetitive questioning and behavioral disturbance.
• Insomnia, depression, hallucinations, loses in olfactory senses and the moment disorders.
