This concept was proposed by Miller 1956 and he named it magic number 7.according to Miller it happens due to the limited number of slots that can store memory.

But he did not mention that what is the amount that can store in each slot. in order to store more memory one should store it in by chunk the information. By doing this we can store more memory.
