Describe a learner-centric approach to learning and why it is needed.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Learner centric approach is also known as Student Centric Approach.

It is wherein the knowledge and information learning process is more in the hands of the student than it is with the teacher.

It is a process predominantly practiced by teachers to help students gain more autonomy and independence.

This helps student in learning better as they try to understand things with a different perspective and are in control of their own learning process.

For instance, a chapter on world civilization can be given to the students to work on and explain it to the rest of the class, so on and so forth, is giving freedom and liberty to students for their own learning process.
