The African-American veterans of World War ll worked with more determinism to work against the social injustice called the racial discrimination. They joined the NAACP in record numbers. About 1/3 of the leaders of Civil Rights movement were these veterans. As Evan Medgers, Amzie Moore, Hosea Williams, and Aaron Henry were the chief leaders among them, but there were even more names than these. They made the Civil Rights movement stronger in the South. During the mass protestation March of 1963 to Washington, their military training and expertise helped them to bear the steps taken against agitation to marr them, they were the men of hour in this march. Thus, the World War ll enabled the veterans with more determinism, and will power to fight against the racial discrimination at home, and to establish a better America were everybody could co-exist peacefully and harmoniously.
