Main problems in providing education of global citizenship are the vast social, economic, cultural and geographical differences between people of different part of the world.

There is huge inequality in wealth and power distribution throughout the globe. Most of the wealth is accumulated by few rich countries and people of the rest of the developing and underdeveloped countries are living in poverty. Due to complexity and inequality, it is very hard to provide global citizenship education properly in an effective manner.
