Are Christian ethics compatible with purely scientific ethics? Why or why not? Support your answers with scholarly evidence.
Christian ethics is compatible with purely scientific ethics as Christianity believes in the existence of an all-powerful God. According to the teachings of Christianity, all humans are equal in the eyes of God. With this notion and no prejudice, we can do scientific research in an objective way. According to the theologians God is plugged into ever-narrowing gaps of knowledge that science hasn't explained hence this is termed
"God of the Gaps". Further the solution offered by Christianity's was to withdraw from the business of explaining nature, thus avoiding all potential conflict between science and religion (Scott, 1995)
