what is the difference between engaged employees and happy employees?

what is the difference between engaged employees and happy employees?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Engaged employees are people who likes the job and organization thus being regular to work and more productive. They remain in the job for a long time and volunteer to do things. They help the organization achieve their mission and vision through their hard work and participatory work culture. On the other hand, happy employees are those who are content with their work, pay and environment. It’s normally equated that engaged employees are happy employees but that might be wrong. It’s also true that engaged employees are not always happy employees because the engagement may be at times forced by the management but happy employers may be the most engaged employees because they feel that they are taken care of and instead, they have to take care of the company by contributing to the development of the company.
