grit is a non cognitive trait which is linked to the perseverance efforts and is combined with passion towards long term goals. the positive aspects include the overcoming of obstacles for the accomplishment of goals. it is linked with positive psychology. as the perservance is a positive spect of grit. it also generates positive emoyions like happiness in an individual.

researchers like crede, tynan and harms have shown that is grit is not competely rather lowly correlated to performance. this is a negative aspect as in this sense grit becomes nearly immeasurable. studies also suggest that grit is weekly linked to long term goals. it includes pursuing long term goals without a positibe feedback hence, it gets negatively associated with everything.
