Answer #1

Light cigarettes are nothing much different from regular cigarettes ,it's just the way they are manufactured to deliver less amount of tar than regular cigarettes.

It is stated that light cigarettes are so called as they are considered to be light on person's lungs in terms of containing less harmful content of tar. They are supposed to be made of porous paper which allows the harmful gased from burnt cigarettes to descipate ouside, before it reaches smokers lungs, but it's worth to know they are still in the air surrounding the person and can be equally harmful if smoked in closed environment.

So even if the light cigarettes are termed to be light they are still equally harmful to people. They still have tar which is the oncogenic substance, it still causes harmful effects due to smoking and inhaling harmful chemicals. So no cigarettes is good may it be light or regular ,studies prove.
