7. Describe the evidence Bandura presented that indicates a relationship between seeing aggressive models and behaving aggressively. What can aggression still result, even if the aggressive model is punished?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Bandura in one of his experiments, displayed observational learning and his famous experiment was also known as bobo doll experiment.

Children were shown a model who was showing aggressive behaviour towards the play doll, and looking at the model, children also started behaving aggressively with the doll.

This depicts that we learn by observation.

Had the model been punnished for her behaviour, the children would have learned that such a behaviour results in negative consequences and wont have behaved aggressively then.
