Many people agree conceptually with environmental rights, but in practice they are unwilling or unable to go vegetarian, live sustainably, shop locally, stop using disposables or make other changes that would protect our environment. How do people disassociate from the consequences of their actions? What ethical perspectives justify their decisions?
