Answer #1

I live in a country where class and caste system still exist. I am from a small town which is occupied entirely of tribal people. I relocated to a metropolitan city last year to further pursue academy. The school that I had enrolled in did not have any "labes" with them. So on the first day of class, I was the center of target. I look Asian so obviously I stood out physically. When it was lunch break, the eye rolls were followed by skeptical interrogations. But eventually I proved them that I am nationally the same as they were and end up educating them about the part of the country that they have been so ignorant towards. By the end of the semester, I was the top scorer in the class and this changed their attitude to a different angle.
