1. Domestic social problems are problems faced by a domestic area which at the maximum is a country. A few of them are; law and order, women discrimination, economy downfall, hunger, poverty, etc.
Global problems include problems faced by everyone throughout the world. This includes global warming, temperature shifts, ozone depletion, water scarcity, etc.
2. There are three theoretical perspectives to social problems- functionalist theory, conflict theory, and symbolic interactionist theory. Problems can be caused by face-to-face interactions (symbolic interactionist theory), relationship between parts of society (functionalist theory) and competition for scarce resources (conflict theory).
