Answer #1

Enslaved: True Stories of Modern Day Slavery by Jesse Sage, Liora Kasten, and Gloria Steinem is a collection of true stories of real people. This book is the result of their investigative journalism. The book tries to reveal the sad fact that slavery is not over but it continues in the modern day through various other forms such as slaves performing domestic work, child slaves, sex slaves and torture slaves in various countries including the US. The fact is very painful that human trafficking, especially children and women for domestic works and sex trade are on the rise and the international community is not able to do anything about it but everyone has a responsibility in behaving in a civilized manner thus should abolish slave trade for sex and domestic work.
