The question of Jimmy Carter being a good president has been debatable. People argue about Carter being a very good person, however, he apparently miserably failed as a president. He was a man of principles, a heart of gold, empathetic and compassionate. However, during his presidency the economy was in massive slump. During his presidency there were hostage crises and policies which were unsuccessful. He may have been a fantastic person, however, his presidency did not benefit the country.
