Which of the following is not related to Monocular depth cue? Convergence, Interposition, relative moment, or accommodation?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

depth perception is the abiity of an individual of perceiving the world in a 3D manner. it is based on binocular and monocular cues. the binocular cues are based on sensations of both the eyes and involve the eye convergence, stereopsis, disparity as well depth parallax. monnocular cues are only the 2D representation and involve just one eye. they include the size, motion parallax involving the relative moment, accomdaation, as well the interposition of the object.

since convergence is only present in binocular cues and not in monocular cues hence it is not related to monocular depth cues.
