Answer #1

The unconscious mind constitutes of the repressed thoughts, feelings and experiences. One is absolutely unaware of these thoughts, feelings and etcetera. They cannot be brought to the conscious memory. However, a clinical psychologist can help one bring their thoughts and feeling out of the unconscious mind through observation. These thoughts and feelings are manifested in their behaviour. The clinical psychologist observes this behaviour to draw conclusions about one's unconscious mind.  When a clinical psychologist uses the word unconscious, he/she is relating it to an observation.
