How does Steinbock show that most abortions are not wrong? Be sure to explain both the Interest View and her point concerning biographical life.
Steinbock believes that most abortions are not wrong. She claims that there are two reasons behind this belief- The moral status of the embryo and the fetus and the burdens imposed on the women by the pregnancy and childbirth.
According to her interest view, she believes that it limits the future of those people who are possess to their professional life. She also states that fetuses are not conscious so that they can understand the interest of their parents. Fetus can not feel pain or any pressure. Therefore the fetus can be abort if there is adequate reason for it. There is no biographical life in fetuses, because it is not conscious yet. So killing before the beginning of consciousness should not be illegal.
