What are group norms and how are they connected to organised culture

Group norms could be identified as the the set of rules that are unwritten. These norms are informal and would be governing the governing the behavior of people in a group. These would be varying on the basis of the issues that would be important in the group. As a result of group norms, individuals tend to behave Ina particular manner in situations that prevail in the society. Group norms could be related to organised culture. As a result of these rules as well as values, people tend to behave in particular ways. These form the basis of organisational culture- values as well as norms. These could also be referred to as Behavioral quirks as well ideologies that would be strictly adhered by the group.
