What are some of the things that could have been done differently in the life of Antwon’s in the book finding Fish

Antwon's life had been harsh. He saw and faced physical abuse and ill treatment from very early age. He lived for 2 years in orphanage and then was transferred to foster home where he was not treated well. So, it would have been good if he had been there in orphanage, he might have understood his life better and would not have to face physical abuse. Along with that, it is mentioned in this book that life got better when he joined navy, it gave him a new life. He then prospered. It is true that harsh times teaches you how to grow and you learn how to deal with certain circumstances that come your way. It would not have been better. If he had not gone through that rough phase, he could not have developed himself and achieve this much.
