Sexual function difficulties is difficulty faced by an individual or a couple during any stage of a normal sexual activity, including physical pleasure, desire, preference, arousal or orgasm.

This should be determined by the American Psychiatric Association as it would help give a detailed, thorough and accurate account of where exactly duringdthe sexual cycle does the difficulty arise. This might not be possible with every individual or couple that comes for therapy or medical care.
