In your own words, create three simple arguments. Each argument should instantiate one of the valid or invalid argument.
Valid argument means when all the premises or statements are true , argument or conclusion must be true .
While invalid argument refer to condition when all premises are true but argument or conclusion is false .
1)
Premise 1 All athletes are fit.
Premise 2 Merry is an Athlete .
Conclusion Merry is Fit .
It is a valid argument .
2)
Premise 1 One who is good at maths is good at science .
Premise 2 David is good at Science .
Conclusion David is good at maths .
This is an invalid arguement because those who are good at maths are good in science but it is not necessary , as per premise , that all who are good in science must be good in maths. There is possibility that David ia good in science but not in maths .
3)
Premise 1 All birds produce egg
Premise 2 Parrot is a bird.
Conclusion Parrot produces egg.
It is a valid arguement because if both premise are true , conclusion is always true .
