Describe a small behavior that you would like to change in someone you live with (if you live alone, you could use a parent, sibling, etc.), such as leaving their stuff on the living room table, not emptying the trash, not washing their dishes, etc.

Show how the principles of operant conditioning are keeping this behavior in place. Now describe how you would use operant conditioning techniques in order to change the behavior.

The person i live with keeps the room very untidy does not do the dishes,I have repeatedly requested that cleanliness is important .despite of several times telling the person,no habits have changed For example if we were to use any operant conditioning techniques ,so we decided that everytime a behaviour was not acceptable he would have to clean the house the whole month and do the dishes or he will be asked to vacate.In this situation i had to use the negative reinforcemnt technique on him.
