  • Greed and Gluttony have always been considered negative sins.A greedy person wants more and more in life and would become blind in its pursuit.People running after materialisitc things dont think beyond it and may even diregard their relationships.This is negative.But greed can be good also,when you have greed to surround yourself with good things and good people.The greed to help others by continuing to volunteer in community service not only proves beneficial for you but for others as well.But this would only work when you have goodness inside of you.
  • Gluttony can also be looked as a way to enjoy one's life.Enjoying moments time to time in your life by indulging yourself in your favourite things is not such a bad thing.Getting through bad times sometimes require to commit such sins in a positive way.Over indulgence would become negative.
  • I think its all about individual perspective how you view the sins in your life,i.e. whether you keep over indulging in them making the negative side more dominant or indulge in it in a controlled manner,making the positive side more dominant.
  • Each person has their own ability of self control.People who go over the top with it would feel negative effects more in their life,while people who know the limit of indulgence in such sins would enjoy positive effects more.
