Among the many things I found interesting about the talk, I was intrigued to know that about 90 percent of our evolutionary process took place. Africa was the region where the earliest evidence for human ancestors was found and even the first technologies in the form of stone tools. However, the dismal condition of this great region today narrates a completely different story - that plagued by poverty, violence, and disease. However, the speaker urges us to hold positive perceptions of Africa and encourages us to appreciate its efforts towards eradicating its chronic problems.
