Bias is prejudice in favour of or against one thing, person or group compared with another, usually in a way concidered to be unfair.Bias is a tendency to lean in a certain direction, often to the detriment of an open mind. The three different types if bias are:

1.Selection Bias : Selection bias is a bias introduced by the saelection of individuals, groups or data for analysis in such a way that proper randomization is not achieved, thereby ensuring that thesample obtained is nit representative of the population inteded to be analyzed. It is sometimes reffered to as the selection effect.

2:Infornmation Bias: Information Bias is a type of cognitive bias that describes the tendency to seek information when it does not affect action.People can often make better predictions or choices with less information. An example of information bias is believing that the more information can acquired to make a decision ,the better, even if that extra information is irrelevant for the decision.

3:Research Bias :Research Bias is also called experiment bias,is what happens when someone conducting a study intentionally or unintentionally influences the results based on their own expected outcome.Research bias can occur when the researcher does not pay enough attention to the participants. This could lead to the researchers own belief determinning the research process.
