The current leader of North Korea is Kim Jong un. The father of Kim Jong un is Ko young hee who was a singer in the opera sector and the dictatorial leader Kim Jong IL. Kim Jong is was the leader of the country till the year 2011, until he died. Kim Jong is ruled North Korea since 16 feb 1941 to 17 dec 2011. He had come into power after the death of his father Kim IL sung. He was the heir and had been assuming various posts in army and the government before coming into power. He had been the general secretary in the worker’s party. His father had died suffering a heart attack and he became the designated successors. He was given the post of the general secretary was had been re-elected as the chairman in the national defence commission. While practising, Kim Jong IL has been exercising absolute power after coming into government. He did not stand for popular election and had been elected unanimously.
Kim jon un was seen to be similar to his father during the youth. He had been prepared by his father for the succession of the leadership. At the time of his father’s death Kim was thought to be in his late 20s. He was also known to behave played an important role in the ruling of his father.
