What is the liberal individualist concept of persons? How do feminist concepts of persons differ? Which view is more plausible?
The liberal individualist concept of persons holds that the individual should be free to pursue what they perceive as their rights and abilities, with minimum interference from the government. It emphasizes the individual over the community. On the other hand, the feminist concept of persons hold that every person, no matter their gender, sex, race, ethnicity, nationality, class, sexual orientation, religious orientation, etc., deserves fairness and equity in in every aspect of life. In my view, the feminist concept is more plausible.
