I do agree that the current state of our planet’s natural environment is a problem. This issue can be further addressed through the conflict theory lens. The conflict theory holds that many environmental problems such as pollution are caused largely by the activists of multinational corporations for their own profit maximisation. At the same time, they are given this leeway by the government by allowing weak regulations and failing to enforce the regulations that do exist.
