Sleep can be one of the most important aspects of an individuals life from a physiological as well as psychological perspective. It is necessary to have a decent amount of sleep in order to be able to function at one's full potential.
Insomnia is one of the common problems that people can experience either due to depression or anxiety, wherein a person cannot seem to sleep. One needs to take into consideration that there are decent number of hours involved in order to get into ones REM cycle, which takes long.
Inadequate sleep can lead to lot of health problems such as weight loss, and sleeping too much can lead to lethargy and weight gain.
I had a habit of sleep at arratic hours and less than four hours each night, which led to the development of low blood pressure,but now there is an active effort to help reduce my inadequate sleep and set the cycle right.
