Western hegemony is a a way to build relationships with the international world through liberalisation. Liberalisation in the fields of history , exchange cultures , economics and many other things have been rooted into the ancient times and now in this modern era this western hegemony has extended its exposure to international sports and several researches are getting conducted in this topic to understand the sociology of western hegemony into sports and allied activities. On the 50th anniversary of ISSA Lee Thompson , a key foundation scholar in the socio development in the sports fields from Japan worked a lot and based on his researches it was a great help to the world to understand the west cultures and it makes a bridge in between the two countries about the sports in Japan and USA . This is an example of the two cultures of the two countries that bridges a gap and jointly conducted several activities for socio economic developments.

It cant be said that all the times its a fair exchange of influences and generally it depends on the economic situations of the country. For example , post 2nd world war USA gained the econmic power and based on that they have their influences on several other countries which are of unfair means to the citizens of USA and to that country also .

No there is no such diminishing trend in the sports cultures but it can be said that it has make a niche for some peoples who like it or associated with it and its not including general public. Its not the effect of any influences but changes in life styles , earning styles and introduction of internet in human beings life has turned themselves to be addicted towards that world and least interested in the sports activities. Sheer competition in the professional world also left no time for them to engage in such sports activities.
