What are strategies for developing thinking dispositions? basically what are strategies for developing intellectual empathy and honesty?

One has to be a good thinker and develop good thinking dispositions. They are the tendency to be alert to complex situations,ability to exercise control,should be alert and weigh the pros and cons,able to justify,organize oneself and focus ,alertness and should have thirst for knowledge.strategy for intellectual empathy and honesty are they should be able to understand others problems in their perspective,be willing to forgive,should be open to accept others problems and find solution,develop emotional intelligence,understand major differences in people.
