If people saw a particular traits as genes and alleles, then there wouldn't be the germination of stereotypes or discrimination.

Race is a concept that has thus been spawned and created by the society. The dogmatic and demonic representation of race is what creates the effect of 'othering' in peoples minds of a particular sector towards a particular group.

Hence, as a result of this customized man made construct, there exist misnomer pertaining to various races.
