What differences do you think the American government would have without any belief in God?
Belief in God gave the founding fathers of American Constitution a vision to lay a strong foundation for the country. The belief that all men are created equally by God gave the notion of equality in the Constitution. The Checks and Balance system is a contribution of this belief, as the founding fathers felt necessary to balance the powers to check tyranny which is an inherent part man's sinful nature. Without belief in God, the Constitution would not have provided equality of all religion and equal freedom to practice their own religion to the citizens of America. Thus, belief in God has been helpful in laying a strong democratic form of government in America, that helped America to be prosperous and a leader in the world.
