Answer #1

I disagree with the Freud concept which states that a boy kid falls for his mother the Oedipus and Electra complex. The kids do not have such thoughts about their parents.

More Freud's theory is based a lot on unconscious thoughts. It doesn't focuses on behaviour which is at conscious level. Because every time for tantrums, or misbehavior unconscious thoughts is not the reason where as behaviour or cognitive thinking is.

Freud's theory also says that in phallic stage the way you are trained results in shaping of behaviour in adults. But situation make a person to do so. For eg a child is well toilet trained and in adulthood if he he faces lot of stress due to workplace he would tend to develop obsessive compulsive disorder.
