Answer #1

According to Bandura, self efficacy is believing in ones own capabilities and to manage and execute certain tasks effectively. Self efficacy is the belief of a person in ones own self to accomplish a task or succeed in something. These beliefs about oneself determine to a large extent as to how people perform in certain situation. The self actualization concept of Ivan Maslow is very different form this concept, as it is to fulfill ones potential and do what a person can do best. It is to realize ones own abilities to to fulfill it and live up to it. Self efficacy is believing and confidence in ones abilities, whereas self actualization is to fulfill ones most highest potential and do best what a person can do.
