Think about and identify five reasons why parents might not participate as partners in their child's care and education. five reasons why parents might not participate as partners in their child's care and education are as follows:-

1.Lack of time

• Especially working and/or single parents
• More than one child
• Children need time to relax after school.

* teachers need to pay more attention towards the child as the family of child have lack of time.

2.Parental knowledge

• Parents lack knowledge about subject curriculum and teaching methodology.
• Parents lack provision of guidance on how to help and support learning at home.

*teachers need to provide compelte knowldge of subject to the child as their parents lack the knowledge of sunject.

3.Fear of negative consequences for child

• Make young child too dependent
• Embarrassment for an older child could lead to teasing or even bullying.

* parents think if the help child in every aspect of their education their child will became dependent on them so, it is the duty of the teacher to overcome this barrier so that child become more attentive towards his studies.

4.Parental attitudes

Not my job.

* many parents think that helping child with their education is not their job. So teachers need to be more responsible towards the child.

5.Parents with disabilities

• May impact on ability to function reducing willingness to commit to regular involvement in their child education.

* teachers need to pay more time with such childrens so that the child's education does not get effected.
