Abstract- It’s the time for tech-check, in between spiralling growth in generation of e-waste, improper recycling and its hazardous effects on human health as we as environment. The time ripe to stop inviting toxins and heavy metals and flame-retardants through our mindless pursuit of upgrade technology and fancier products.

Tag Line- Be the change, reduce, reuse and recycle. For a better today and a safer tomorrow.

1- Effects on Air: e-waste includes the mixture of heavy metals like mercury, lead, chromium, cadmium and PBDEs. Inappropriate handlings of e-waste such as burning may produce polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons that directly effects the environment and human beings.

2- Effects on water: The e-waste pollute water resources and it directly affects the poor communities in non-developed and semi-developed countries. Fresh water is very important natural resource so that these chemicals can poisoned water sources.

3- Effects on human health: Due to the crude recycling of e-waste, many pollutants such as persistent organic pollutants and heavy metals are released, which can easily accumulated in the human body through inhalation and direct exposure to skin. After exposing the cultured lungs cells to organic soluble and water soluble can cause extensive damage in cells.

4- Effects on economy: The e-waste also indirectly effect economy, management of e-waste causes large amount of money, so that the economic problems occurs in handling of e-waste.

5- Effects on Agriculture: Toxic soil produce unhealthy crops that causes chronic illness and unhealthy food. The effects on agriculture is most prominent in semi-developed countries.

6- Effects on Productivity: E-waste effects productivity in negative way, the unhealthy environment reduce human productivity, it directly effects the environment that cause lack of productivity.

7- Effects on Society: Social structure is depends on economic growth, health perspectives and social developments. Natural resources are key factor of any social development so that e-waste indirectly effects the social development.
