Disorder: Dementia
a) Overall prevalence: Worldwide prevalence in 2015 is estimated at 47.47 million.
1.2 million new cases each year in the USA.
b) Gender difference: No available information
c) Data on at least 2 subgroups: Comparison between High-Income countries and Low - Middle-Income countries. At age 85 years, approximately 65/1000 persons in a year will get Dementia in High-Income Countries. In Low - Middle-Income countries, in a year approximately 35/1000 persons in Low - Middle-Income countries get Dementia.
