Answer #1

Juror 8 is a transformational leader. He was the only who voted against the majority and goes for not guilty vote. He does this because,he wanted to give the boy a fair trial, raise above the prejudices that were against the boy. He persuaded other jurors to reflect their thinking and find about the prejudices that could lead them them to an unfair verdict. He stood for the cause of a fair trial till the end and lead others in doing so in democratic and persuasive manner. This makes him a transformational leader because he stood for fair judgement, he was a visionary who could see possibilities beyond the limits of prejudices, he led others in a persuasive and democratic manner to think above their prejudices, and thus, helped the boy to get a fair trial.
