Maslow's hierarchy of needs can be defined as a theory postulated by Abraham Maslow in 1943 in his paper 'Theory of human motivation' . Maslow's heirarchy of needs shows the series of needs in a bottom up approach that needs to followed in a strict sequence which motivate human behaviour.

In order for a product to be fulfilling it first needs to satisfy the basic physiological needs or atleast appear to. Thus at the level of the first physiological needs does the product truly becomes fulfilling.
