Answer #1

According to the norms, a person is considered to be an adult after the age of 18. A person, in most developed countries, moves out of home by the age of 18. The phase between 18-25 is a phase of real development. Until the age of 18 or lesser a person lives with his parents, grandparents, siblings. One's life is a lot more secure. A person does not have to worry about food, shelter or paying bills. However, when a person moves out of home, he actually transforms into an adult. It is not only his age that makes him an adult, its the experiences instead that make him an adult. He has to take care of his own bills, food, shelter and etcetera. It is indeed a real phase of development. The experiences learnt in the process are limitless and they change you completely as person. Different experiences have different impact on one's development.
