Many people believe science to be an infallible enterprise. Discuss the merits and fallacy of this belief.

Answer #1

Infallible enterprise means it never goes wrong and whatever it proposes should be true. Science is the systematic study of anything that and there is no scope for assumptions. Even assumptions are accepted for further research. Science has broken most of the traditional beliefs that were wrong and substituted all the superstitions with enough proof that’s why people believe that science is an infallible enterprise. The fallacy could be that certain research could be deceptive and mislead people from reality because of the researcher’s intervention.
