The arguments against the usage of anti-psychotic drugs and even its immediate withdrawal without prescription is that it leads to many side effects: Some of them are drowsiness, diziness, dry mouth, severe weight gain, constipation, nausea, neurochemical imbalance, vomiting, etc. The side effects are of such severity that the usage for any other disorder apart from schizophrenia is not recommended. Moreover, many withdrawal symptoms are seen if not followed abruptly, due to which psychiatrists reduce dosage slowly and steadily.
