Answer #1

There are many groups I belong to such as my family, peer group, psychology class, reading club and volunteering group. A situation in which I experienced social loading was during a group assignment in which we were required to collectively create an informative poster and present it to the rest of the class. All of the members were expected to contribute equally to the project, however, many of the other group members assumed charge and began carrying out the tasks with utmost enthusiasm. I took this opportunity to take a step back from the project and allowed the others to complete the assignment.
