Answer #1

Step 1:

Principle of utility definite that if consquence of action is good and better and it gives pleasure and happiness which is morally Rights.in other hand if human consequences and action is not good and create unhappiness or displeasure which is known as morally wrong.

The concept of moral Right and wrong are ethical theory that regard some acts right or wrong on the basis of independent consequencescn on the basis of principle of utility and this concept is only a view of pursuing self-interest.But morality always learned to think about others people.morality means repect, tolerance, justice, truth for others not for self- interest.morality learns sacrifice own self for others happiness but not make ponder to think only for our consequences of happiness.so I can not approch with such kind definition and major reason are already discussed above.

Mill's 'greatest happiness principle' (or 'doctrine of utility') holds that "actions are right in proportion as they tend to promote happiness, wrong in proportion as they tend to produce the reverse of happiness. By 'happiness' is meant pleasure and the absence of pain; by 'unhappiness' is meant pain and the lack of pleasure" ('Utilitarianism', p. 2). Will this doctrine always be compatible with the 'harm principle'? Why/why not? In your response, consider an argument from Chapter 2.
