What is the difference between t-tests and ANOVA versus regression (one big difference)? Explain it as if you were teaching someone.

In t- test compare the mean of a variable into two groups.an independent t-test compare the means of two different groups for example reaction time on a task in men vs women. Where paired t-test compare the mean in same group at two different times.for example,reaction time of the same people on task before and after training.

ANOVA:compare the mean in three or more groups.for example a group bof psychiatri patients are try three different types therapies councellico, medication and feedback , so psychiatrist would like to see which one therapy is better than other

Regression: it is used to find out the relationship between two continuous variable such that we can make prediction.for example, after finding equation of the relationship between height and weight, in sample, we can predict of a predict of a person height on the basis of age who is not part our sample.
